Library
Our school library is a welcoming and inclusive space designed to support learning, creativity, and a lifelong love of reading. It provides students with access to a wide range of resources in a calm and supportive environment.
It offers a wide variety of books and students are welcome to visit every day before and after school and during break times. Whether they want to enjoy reading for pleasure or make use of the space for studying, there’s something for everyone.
In addition, all students and staff can access our digital library service, Sora. This provides a huge range of ebooks, audio books and magazines.
Sora is a free online library that has thousands of books, magazines and audiobooks to use for free! It has a large shared collection of more than 2,200 titles of which over 200 are audio books tailored to the secondary level. Sora is the recommended app and desktop experience to access your school’s digital collection.
To get started:
1. Simply type Sora into the search bar and select your school & enter your school email
2. OR Download the Sora app onto a phone or tablet browser
Then Enter the setup code uksecondary then select Kemnal Technology College.
Then follow the sign in steps using the student's school Gmail account.
